Since having little kids I have learned that they are full of questions. Some days I use the term millions when telling my husband about my day, but I know it can’t truly be that many…it just feels like it.
I love following along with Katie Bower’s blog. She has four littles and she is super creative in thinking of ways to engage them. This countdown calendar is one of my favorites!
Here are three things I love about it:
1) It is kid friendly so they can use it without worrying they will break it.
2) You can use it year round for all kinds of events…when grandparents arrive, when school starts, when they get to go on a field trip.
3) It is nice and neutral and can fit in with your normal decor but you can also spice it up if you want something colorful.
I love the idea of teaching my kids patience and giving them some idea of the concept of time and also teaching them to be excited and looking forward to things.
